Hida Sangyo LIETO 3P Sofa, White Oak Solid Wood, High-Back, Removable Cover
Hida Sangyo (HIDA) is a leading Japanese furniture manufacturer founded in 1920 in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture.
Based on the woodworking culture inherited from Hida no Takumi (Hida artisans) and reliable processing technology, they continue to create high-quality furniture that utilizes the natural texture of wood and can be cherished for a long time.
This is the LIETO 3-seater sofa from Hida Sangyo (HIDA).
It features a wooden frame luxuriously made from solid white oak and a high-back design that gently supports the body.
The wide wooden armrests and the beautifully assembled frame, even on the back, retain the unique expressions of natural wood, such as knots and variations in grain density, allowing you to fully appreciate the material's inherent charm.
In Hida Sangyo's representative "Mori no Kotoba" (Words of the Forest) series, knots, which were traditionally avoided as flaws, are embraced as evidence of the tree's growth, and their individuality is actively incorporated into furniture designs.
This product also uses white oak with knots, reflecting Hida Sangyo's unique approach to materials, which respects the individual character of each piece of wood.
The seat and backrest are upholstered in a calm greige fabric.
Combined with the deep brown of the wooden parts, it creates a natural yet elegant atmosphere.
The high-back design provides firm support up to the shoulders, making it comfortable for extended periods of relaxation.
The upholstery is a removable cover, allowing for easy cleaning.
For daily care, we recommend gentle washing methods such as hand washing or delicate cycles.
With a 3-seater size of 190cm wide, it is ideal as a living room sofa for families to relax on, and is also recommended for layouts where it is placed in the center of the room, utilizing its wooden frame.
Since the back is beautifully finished, it blends naturally not only when placed against a wall but also when used as a room divider.
It pairs well with a wide range of styles, including Japanese modern, Scandinavian, and natural interiors.
This Hida Sangyo sofa, with its combination of knotty white oak and gentle fabric, adds warmth and tranquility to your living room.
