Fukagawa-seiji Mizuhikiso Small Plates, Set of 5, Arita Ware, Oval Plates, Appetizer Plates, Wagashi Plates, Hakuji, Fuji-san Brand, Japanese Tableware
Fukagawa-Seiji, a renowned kiln from Arita.
A delicate design of mizuhikisou (knotweed) is drawn on the soft white porcelain, leaving ample blank space.
It's a small plate that doesn't demand too much attention, yet possesses a definite presence.
The oblong shape, approximately 12cm long, is perfect for serving a single Japanese confection next to your teacup during tea time.
At the dining table, it can be used as a serving plate for side dishes or fruits.
Neither too big nor too small, its size naturally blends into daily dining.
The white porcelain, making good use of its blank space, gracefully enhances whatever is placed upon it.
It's a piece you can use without fuss, yet it possesses a certain elegance.
As it comes in a set of five, it's suitable for family meals or small gatherings.
It brings a quiet order to everyday life.
There are no noticeable damages such as cracks or chips, and it is in good condition.
Although there is no box, we will carefully wrap and deliver it.
We ask that those who understand that this is a pre-owned item consider purchasing it.
