The 14th generation, Imaizumi Imaemon, has sublimated the Edo period technique of "ink-dropping" with a modern sensibility, and in 2014 was recognized as a holder of an Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure).
His works combine traditional elegance with modern beauty that blends seamlessly into contemporary spaces.
This is a sake cup called "Iroesumi Irosumihajiki Kusabanamon" (Colored Ink-painted Flower and Plant Design), which uses "sumihajiki", one of Juyondai's representative techniques.
"Sumihajiki" is a technique in which the parts drawn with ink turn white after firing.
This work features delicate white lines and vibrant red flowers that appear to float against a chic gradation of ink (gray) in the background.
The intricate patterns, reminiscent of snowflakes and particles of light, show different expressions depending on the angle from which you view them, and the moment you hold them in your hands, you will be taken aback by the high level of craftsmanship.
Not only can you display it as an ornamental piece, but you can also enjoy the blissful moment of tasting special sake.

■ Regarding large items such as furniture
- Please note that some products, such as glass products, cannot be delivered due to the shipping company's conditions.
- Please note that there are some areas in Okinawa Prefecture, some areas in Hokkaido, and remote islands where we cannot ship due to the shipping company's conditions.
- If the product cannot be delivered or if additional delivery charges are required for lifting or other delivery methods, this will be the customer's responsibility and cancellations will not be accepted, so please be sure to check the delivery route and the size of the installation location.
