Calligaris Connubia NEW YORK CB1022 Dining Chair (4) Genuine Leather Gray
Connubia is a brand born from Calligaris, an Italian furniture manufacturer founded in 1923.
Drawing on years of accumulated furniture-making expertise, it blends simple, functional designs with rich color palettes. Incorporating environmentally friendly materials, the brand offers light and sophisticated furniture that complements modern lifestyles.
This is the "NEW YORK (CB1022)" dining chair from Connubia.
It features a light and sophisticated design, combining a deeply curved backrest that embraces the body with a sleek steel frame.
The backrest and seat are made of high-quality soft leather (genuine leather).
This particular unit is in a calming grey color, offering the soft texture and elegant appearance unique to leather.
The moderately cushioned seat and the curved backrest, designed to follow the body's contours, provide comfortable support.
The legs feature a slender steel frame.
By connecting the front and back legs at the floor level, the light frame construction minimizes the oppressive feel against the voluminous leather-upholstered seat, resulting in a sharp impression.
The contrast between the soft curves and the linear metal frame is beautiful, creating a dining chair that is simple yet impactful, truly in the Italian modern style.
The sophisticated grey leather and slender steel frame pair well with modern dining spaces based on monotone or greige color schemes.
When combined with a glass or ceramic table, it creates a sharp and urban impression, while pairing it with a wooden table like oak or walnut creates a material contrast, resulting in a warmer coordination.
With its body-hugging backrest and moderate cushioning, it is recommended not only for daily meals but also for dining rooms where long conversations are enjoyed, or even as a desk chair.
