Wedgwood Blue Siam Soup Tureen with Lid - Made in England, good gilding, discontinued, rare
This is a soup tureen from Wedgwood's popular "Blue Siam" series, a renowned British pottery.
It features a beautiful design that combines the elegance of England with an oriental flair, with delicate floral patterns and classical geometric patterns set against a deep cobalt blue background.
This item belongs to a discontinued series, and serving pieces like tureens are particularly scarce, making it a highly collectible item.
It makes a striking statement not only when used at the table but also as a decorative piece.
Overall, it is in beautiful condition with little signs of use.
The gold gilding, in particular, shows no rubbing and remains in excellent condition.
While it does not come with a box, we will carefully package it for delivery.
We kindly request that this item be purchased by someone who understands that it is a pre-owned item.
