More than 260 years have passed since the kiln was built in Arita, the birthplace of porcelain. Gen'emon Kiln has inherited the ancient techniques and spirit of Ko-Imari.

The diamond pattern symbolizes "prosperity and fertility" and the Chinese flowers are said to symbolize "eternal life" and "infinite growth."
